How do we store black tea?(1)

2022-05-18

Tea should be kept away from humidity and high temperature, and should not be stored together with detergents to keep the tea pure. It is best to keep tea leaves in tea tins and move them to a dark, dry place. It is best to drink the tea leaves as soon as possible after opening, otherwise the taste and aroma will be lost. How to store black tea well?
1. Stored in iron cans : Use the tinplate double-cover colored tea direction available in the market as the container. Before storage, check whether the can body and lid are airtight and can not leak. When storing, put the dried black tea leaves in cans, and the cans should be packed tightly. This method is convenient to use, but not suitable for long-term storage.
2.Stored in thermos: choose a thermos with good heat retention as a container. Put the dried black tea leaves into the bottle, and pack enough to reduce the amount of air in the bottle. The bottle mouth is tightly closed with a cork stopper, the edge of the stopper is coated with white wax to seal, and then wrapped with tape. Since there is less air in the bottle and the temperature is stable, this method has better retention effect and is simple and easy to implement.

3.Stored in Ceramic jars: choose a dry and airtight ceramic jar, wrap the black tea with kraft paper, place it around the jar, put a lime bag in the middle, put a tea bag on top, and fill the back of the jar, cover tightly with cotton wrap.It is better to replace the lime every 1-2 months. This method makes use of the hygroscopic properties of quicklime to keep the black tea from getting wet, the effect is good, and the quality of the tea can be maintained for a long time.
