Identification of new and old tea

Generally speaking, new tea is better than old tea, but not necessarily. Timely storage, for Longjing tea, it will become excellent in color and taste. Another example is oolong tea, as long as it is properly preserved, even if it is old tea in the next year, it also has the characteristics of fragrant aroma and mellow taste.
However, among the many varieties of tea, for many tea categories, it is still "new is the most expensive".
To judge new tea and old tea, it can be distinguished from the following three aspects:
1. Distinguish old tea from new tea according to the color of the tea leaves. Generally speaking, green tea is green in color, and the soup is bright yellow and green; black tea is dark in color, and the soup is red and orange, which is the symbol of new tea.

2. Aroma distinguishes new tea from old tea. With the extension of time, the aroma of tea leaves will change from high to low, and the aroma type will change from the fragrance of new tea to low stuffy. 

3. Distinguish new tea and old tea from the taste of tea leaves. No matter what kind of tea, the taste of new tea is full-bodied and fresh, while old tea is dull.
